Ward Churchill at UC Irvine
Some bicyclists rallied at noon to protest campus restrictions on bicycle riding. They were woefully upstaged, though, by a small antiwar rally organized by the Muslim Student Union and featuring Ward Churchill. I’ve posted more photos on Flickr.
Sorry, fellas, all the bystanders were down the steps and facing the opposite direction.
“I greet you on behalf of the American Indian Movement”, etc.
A few counterprotesters, perhaps with Anteaters for Israel, perhaps with the Randies:

Dear Kelly,
The Ayn Rand Club basically doesn’t exist anymore. We moved/changed our name to the Objectivist Club. So, we aren’t “Randies”, we would be called Objectivists, if anything (but, Objectivist has a definate, slightly complex meaning, and not all members of the Objectivist Club are necessarily Objectivists).
Those protesters weren’t affiliated with me, but we agree on some issues. I really don’t know who they are with, but the person in the middle is a member of the college republicans.
