Spring cleaning
Time for a change. Bark at the Hole wasn’t fun anymore. It’d started looking too much like the worst of the web – the venting, the gotcha, the lecturing, the navel-gazing, and the engagement with idiocy and barbarity – and not enough like me.
This is my personal site, not a forum. I’ll be moderating all comments, and I may decline or delete comments at will. I’m a big fan of accountability, so comments left anonymously or under disposable pseudonyms will probably never see daylight.
The recent talk of warnings and codes of conduct? Ugh.
“People who really want to have a good time won’t come to a slaughterhouse.”
“I want you to be nice… until it’s time to not be nice.”
“Well, uh, how are we supposed to know when that is?”
